Hillis Students Plant Apple Trees

Hillis Earth Day Ambassadors planted four apple trees on the playground Monday afternoon.  Students learned about the importance of planting trees and the proper way to take care of fruit trees.  Earth Day Ambassadors included Dunia, Alejandro, Ariadne, Afina, Odin, and Kensey from third grade, and Khallee, Eddy, Elizabeth, Ilea, Maikon, and Lilly from fourth grade.
