Hillis Students Celebrate The End of Another Year

Hillis students have been working hard on Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind all year round!  Each month students created a class-wide behavior goal based on what they noticed could be improved.  At the end of each month the students celebrated their hard work toward meeting their goals.  Celebrations included playing BINGO, wearing pajamas and drinking hot chocolate, and playing games with a buddy class.  The most talked about celebration of the year, however, is the Beach Party.  This annual celebration is a school favorite!  Students made “sand castles” by stacking cups, made cereal necklaces, created beachy art designs with chalk, but the real celebrating happened at the dunk tank!  Students could earn tickets to throw a ball at the dunk tank by following school-wide expectations.  It was a fun event and a special way to end the year!
