School Supply Fundraiser for Houston Schools
The Houston Independent School District has an immediate need for school supplies. Des Moines Public Schools and Houston Public Schools are both members of Great City Schools along with other urban school districts throughout the United States. We are asking the Hillis community to join together and help donate to the 50 Houston schools and thousands of families in need. Starting on Friday, September 1, there will be totes and boxes in the entryway to drop off your donations. Donations will be accepted through Friday, September 8 and then driven down to Houston.
